A short walk from the cottage takes you to the Glaslyn Osprey Centre where you can watch these spectacular birds raise their young. You can also grab a snack and a coffee while waiting to take a scenic ride on the Welsh Highland and Ffestiniog narrow gauge railways.
Just a mile away is the popular hostelry, Brondanw Arms (known locally as The Ring) and a village shop.
